Location: On-site in Newark, DE
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Immediate start through June 12, 2026
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
- Support behavioral and social-emotional learning initiatives at multiple grade levels
- Ensure compliance with state and district policies and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Delaware School Psychologist licensure (required for consideration)
- Previous school experience preferred, with exposure to preschool, elementary, and high school settings strongly advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism under all circumstances
